Appearance: Kingherbs 98% myricetin is a fine yellow-beige crystalline powder.
Solubility: easy soluble in hot water, hot ethanol and acetone, soluble in ethanol, methanol, slightly soluble acetic ether, insoluble in chloroform, petroleum ether.
Stability: stable in heat, but when heated to 100 Celsius degree above, it will be oxidized irreversibly. It is stable in acidity and neutral.
Myricetin is flavonol, found in many grapes, berries, fruits, vegetables, herbs, as well as other plants. Walnuts are a rich dietary source. It consisting of 3-hydroxyflavone backbone and 6 hydroxyl groups. Pure Myricetin mainly occurs in nature in the form of glycosides.
